Challenge

Degreed had a story worth telling, but the way it showed up digitally had not caught up to the way people were consuming, sharing, and deciding. The brand was still leaning on a more static design language in a world that wanted movement, sequence, relevance, and sharper context. Social, web, campaigns, events, and product storytelling were all asking for more than assets. They needed a digital-first narrative system that could meet people where they were in the journey.

Approach

As Creative Director, I helped reshape the creative function around storytelling, not production. I worked with marketing, social, web, product, and internal stakeholders to move the brand from one-off requests into more deliberate content ecosystems: motion where the idea needed pace, video where the message needed a human voice, campaign systems where repetition could build recognition, and web assets where deeper engagement mattered. The work became less about filling channels and more about giving each channel the right kind of story.

Outcome

That shift changed the behavior around the brand. Creative became more strategic, more useful, and more alive across the full digital path from awareness to engagement. By rebuilding how content was planned, shaped, and delivered, the team helped drive 1,609% engagement growth in three months, 433% social growth, and 24% web engagement growth. The real outcome was not only better performance. It was a brand learning how to move with its audience.
