Challenge
Flexential needed to introduce Hillsboro 3 while the facility was still becoming real. The campaign had to support a major groundbreaking, adapt to a remote-first event environment, and give marketing, sales, leadership, and on-site teams one shared story to carry forward. The deeper challenge was not simply announcing a new data center. It was helping people feel the value of infrastructure they may never see, but depend on every day: power, connection, resilience, speed, and trust.
Approach
I shaped the campaign around “Building the Next Edge,” a platform that framed Hillsboro 3 as both a construction milestone and a signal of what Flexential was helping enterprises prepare for next. The creative direction translated a technical story into a clear visual and verbal system across digital, print, live-streamed event content, sales materials, construction signage, and environmental branding. Each touchpoint had its own role, but the work held to one central idea: make the complex easier to understand, easier to believe in, and easier to carry forward.
Outcome
The campaign gave Hillsboro 3 a cohesive launch narrative and a visible brand presence across the full customer journey, from first awareness to the physical site experience. It helped turn an active construction site into a meaningful brand moment, gave sales and leadership teams a stronger story to share, and positioned the facility as part of a larger future for enterprise infrastructure. At its core, the work made something largely unseen feel tangible: the systems, spaces, and decisions that help modern business stay connected.
